With only ten days to go until the big event, The Down to Earth Gardening Expo and Plant Fair is shaping up to be one of the biggest events of its kind in the Central Tablelands. There will be workshops and pop up talks from garden gurus plus the opportunity to connect with other enthusiasts. Gardeners will also have the exclusive opportunity to purchase rare and unusual plants direct from the growers, including perennials, heirloom fruit and vegetables, roses, maples, irises and so much more. In addition the event will showcase Australian sculpture in the beautiful rural setting of the Carcoar showground.
Entries are still open for the recycled garden art competition. Artwork must be comprised of 70% or more recycled/recyclable/reused materials and all entries must be on site at the Carcoar Showground by 8am on the Sunday. The judging will be based on creative expression and the innovative use of recycled material. For more details email: email@example.com. Entry forms are available from the Carcoar Post Office and can also be downloaded at http://www.carcoarvillage.com/down-to-earth-gardening-expo-plant-fair
