Wild at Heart

Furry and not so furry local inhabitants have been checking out stage two of the Revive Project at Pound Flat. Echidnas and Sugar Gliders are among the native animals which are regularly sighted inspecting the progress on their new habitat. To the east of the river crossing the clearing of the weed trees has opened up a vista of the Belubula along the back of the showground. Meanwhile, the original plantings around pound flat (stage 1) are growing well, creating a bushland reserve for both wildlife and humans near the heart of the village.
