Welcome to the 147th Annual Carcoar Show!

From the President

It hardly seems possible that another year has passed, but here we are with Show Day just around the corner! There is a real sense of anticipation building throughout the community, and our dedicated committee has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure this year’s Carcoar Show is another memorable day for everyone to enjoy.

We are delighted to announce that this year’s Show will be officially opened by Eva Price, the 2025 Blayney Young Woman and a State Finalist at the 2026 RAS Show in Sydney. We are thrilled to welcome Eva to Carcoar.

After an incredible 17 years as Treasurer of the Carcoar Show Organising Committee, we say farewell to Sally Green from this position as she retires from the role. Sally has been a truly dedicated and valued member of the Show family, contributing countless hours and an enormous amount of knowledge, care and commitment over nearly two decades. We are incredibly grateful for everything Sally has done for the Carcoar Show and wish her all the very best.

Once again, the Pavilion will showcase the wonderful diversity and creativity that makes our Show so special, with plenty to admire, including the ever-popular Blokes’ Chocolate Cake, spectacular floral displays, photography, arts and crafts.

There will be plenty of action across our five equestrian rings, along with the much-loved Wood Chop, Dog High Jump and Central Highlands Sports Shear.

There will be no shortage of entertainment across the Showground this year, with live music, dance performances, vintage car displays, Yard Dog Trials, the Kids’ Whip Crack Competition and plenty of fun for our younger visitors.

You certainly won’t go hungry at the Carcoar Show! A great selection of food, refreshments and coffee will be available throughout the day, with plenty of choices to suit all tastes.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Carcoar Show on Saturday, October 31. Whether you come along for the competitions, entertainment, displays, food or simply to catch up with friends and neighbours, we hope you enjoy a wonderful day celebrating everything that makes our community special.

We’ll see you at the Show!
