CVA AGM

On Wednesday, September 26 the Carcoar Village Association held its AGM. The election of office bearers took place with Alan Griffiths elected as president.

In his report outgoing President John Burke drew attention to the association's achievements for the year which include the monthly calendar, completion of the interpretative signage project in the bus shelter, the collaborative river revival project (directed by Brian Parker), a welcome to Carcoar BBQ, the beginnings of a Wiradjuri art project and a massively successful Village Fair on Australia Day.

The committee is busy preparing for next year's Australia Day Fair and is looking for input from the community on ways to improve the event.

Organisers are seeking volunteers to assist on the day and are encouraging stall holders, musicians and entertainers who would like to participate in the fair to get in touch, email thecarcoarvillageassociation@gmail.com
