Breathe Again
Not only does it look great seeing the original brickwork the owners of this house in Millthorpe are also helping to conserve the building. Removal of thick layers of paint from the exterior will allow the bricks to breathe and allow moisture to evaporate. Frequently with older buildings painted brickwork causes moisture to become trapped beneath the paint causing the brickwork to disintegrate over time. It can be very satisfying bringing an old place back to life. For anyone

Autumn @ Carcoar
It's so nice to finally see Autumn and experience the change of seasons here in the Tablelands. In every yard and street deciduous trees will soon be a blaze of deep red, buttery yellow, and every colour in between. With the milder weather it's also time to venture back out into the garden, time to enjoy hearty comfort food and, with the nights becoming cooler, time to cosy up inside by the fireplace with our furry friends and loved ones or, perhaps, even a good book.
