D2E Back Again in 2017
The Down to Earth Garden Expo and Plant Fair is back again in 2017 and is shaping up to be one of the biggest events of its kind in the Central West. Once again the expo will highlight ecology and sustainability along with the relaxation and pleasure to be derived from gardening. There will be workshops and pop up talks from garden gurus plus the opportunity to connect with other enthusiasts. Gardeners will also have the exclusive opportunity to purchase rare and unusual plants direct from the growers, including perennials, heirloom fruit and vegetables, roses, maples, irises and so much more. In addition the event will showcase Australian sculpture in the beautiful rural setting of the Carcoar showground.
Enter the competition for garden art created from recycled materials. Artwork must be comprised of 70% or more recycled/recyclable/reused materials and all entries must be on site at the Carcoar Showground by 8am on the Sunday. The judging will be based on creative expression and the innovative use of recycled material. For more details email: chmuseum@hotmail.com. Prizes are still to be announced and entry forms will soon be available from http://www.carcoarvillage.com/down-to-earth-gardening-expo-plant-fair
