

Farrey’s Backyard Bash!
The Carcoar Sport and Recreation Club will be hosting a special Cricket Day at the Royal Hotel on 21st of April between 12 and 4pm. Teams to be in at 10am - 7 a side all ages with $5 beer, kids entertainment and raffles drawn on the day! Raffle prizes include a painting by local artist Liz Darmody and a sculpture from Tomolly. Kurt's Fairytale Farewell

Farewell Ada
Sad news with the passing of Ada Mason. For many years Ada and her husband Ted were actively involved with Shalom House of Prayer until their retirement in 2009. Following Ted's passing Ada continued to live in the house they built high on the hill and was a familiar sight walking about town in her signature pink straw hat. Only recently she had made the decision to return to Dubbo to be closer to family. Ada was a much loved and admired member of the local community and will

Carcoar school relay swimming team came third in the regional swimming trials held in Dubbo, ( small schools) and will now be competing in Sydney at the Aquatic Centre,Olympic Park on April 12.
