Springtime Revival

Carcoar is shaking off the winter gloom and heading into a Springtime boom. Thanks to a vibrant small business community and savvy social media operators the town is experiencing something of a revival. With 2019 marking 180 years since Carcoar was officially gazetted it couldn't be more timely. Last week the Royal Hotel celebrated this milestone with an appearance by singer songwriter Lusi who captivated the crowd with her amazing voice. And the celebrations are set to continue on Friday with the official opening of the Carcoar Medical Centre at 11am. Please note that this will be 'invitation only'. The adjoining corner premises are also set to open in the coming months. Paolo and Kelly, the duo behind this new venture, have brought back plenty of culinary inspiration from a recent trip to Italy and are looking forward to welcoming patrons to Carcoar's newest eatery, Antica Australis.
