'Backtrack' Attracts Moviegoers

On Sunday September 11 moviegoers turned out for a special screening of the supernatural thriller Backtrack which was filmed partly in Carcoar. The event was almost postponed due to a technical hitch which turned out to be not the work of some mischievous poltergeist but rather the result of a possum dislodging cables in the roof cavity. Thankfully this was able to be fixed. The screening was a joint fundraiser for the School of Arts and the Carcoar Village Association. Among those who stayed on after the movie for a light supper were Betty McKenzie, Kate Tyler, Margaret Hahn and John Burke (pictured).
