Carcoar Catches Its Breath

Now that the lycra has been peeled off and the running shoes deodorised the locals can again settle down to a gentler pace. The past fortnight has certainly been hectic with the Carcoar Show followed closely by the Carcoar Cup. As always the Show proved to be a strong drawcard with a great many visitors soaking up the sunshine and witnessing some extraordinary feats in the shearing pavillion and show ring. The recent Carcoar Cup running festival which was held last Sunday was also well attended with plenty of runners taking to the road for the various events and onlookers enjoying the great village atmosphere. Congratulations to the winnners and to all those that participated.
