Affable Larrikan Dies

Condolences to the friends and family of Lucas “Luke” Dowell who was killed in a single vehicle accident last week at Wantabadgery, near Junee. “Luke” was a member of the Gold Trails Reenactments Group which performed at last year's Australia Day Festival held at Carcoar. Locals and visitors to the event will no doubt remember Luke's lively bushranger portrayal and his ability to connect with the crowd. Friends and family have described him as an 'affable larrikan whose horsemanship was second to none'.
