Community BBQ To Celebrate Revive!

Blayney Shire Council, in conjunction with the Carcoar Urban Landcare Group and the Office of Environment and Heritage is inviting the community to celebrate one of the biggest environmental REVIVE programs undertaken in the Blayney Shire – the rehabilitation of the Belubula River at Pound Flat in historic Carcoar - and the launch of REVIVE 2. It is more than two years since the REVIVE project first began and the area is now a pristine natural recreational area with native trees, shrubs, nesting boxes for birdlife and marsupials and walking trails ready for locals and visitors to enjoy.

To mark the occasion a community BBQ will be held at 12 noon on 25 November in Kurt Fearnley Park. After lunch there will be a guided walk and talk around the Pound Flat site. Attendees are advised to wear enclosed shoes.

RSVP: Nikki Smith 6368 2104 by Thursday 23 November
