'A Day of Fun for Everyone'

Billed as ‘a day of fun for everyone’, the Carcoar Village Fair which is held on Australia Day attracts thousands of visitors to the historic village of Carcoar in the NSW Central Tablelands each year. Thanks to the efforts of local volunteers, the event in Carcoar is one of the largest Australia Day celebrations in the Central West which is a huge achievement for the small community of about 200 residents.

In 2018 the festivities will kick off at 8.30am with a host of attractions throughout the day. A highlight will be the re-enactments performed by the Gold Trails Re-enactment Group, featuring actors performing events that occurred in Carcoar and surrounds, and being made particularly realistic by the use of multiple riders on horseback. Additionally there will be live music featuring November Shorn, Cobb and Co carriage rides, vintage cars, Penny Farthings, amusements and entertainment for the kids including the wonderful Murphy’s Puppets and much more.
