National Trust Open Day
They came, they saw, they admired. Despite gloomy conditions history enthusiasts took time to tour historic properties in the district over the weekend. Organised by the Central West National Trust, the tour took in historic houses and buildings in Millthorpe, Carcoar and Errowanbang. Those on the tour were able to see first hand the work involved in restoring and maintaining these heritage treasures. In addition the Carcoar Hospital Museum, Toy Museum and Court House were also open providing visitors with an insight into our region's colourful past.
